Ablative Fractional Lasers

Laser treatment is a type of skin procedure that uses lasers to help improve skin texture and appearance. The type of laser treatment depends on your individual needs and your doctor may either recommend an ablative of a non-ablative treatment. Both types of laser can be delivered with a fractional technology which is the delivery of heat through tiny columns knowns as microthermal treatment zone which leaves microscopic columns of untreated tissue throughout the treatment area. This can shorten recovery time and reduce the risk of side effects.

Ablative laser skin resurfacing is a wounding type of laser that removes the outer layer of skin (epidermis) while heating up the skin beneath (dermis). This stimulates the productions and growth of new collagen fibers. The technique is used as a treatment for fine and deep wrinkles, scars, and skin lesions. It can also be used to improve skin texture and tone.

CO2 are generally ablative lasers used for treatment of scars, warts, wrinkles, deep skin flaws. While Erbium lasers can be either ablative or non-ablative. They promote collagen stimulation for fine line treatment, wrinkles, skin laxity and age spots.
