How are they formed? Stretch marks happen when your body grows too quickly and the skin can’t stretch enough to keep up. It could likely be weight gain or loss, childhood growth spurt, pregnancy, breast implant surgery, large muscles built quickly, or other factors such as steroid medication or even genetics.
