Vaser Smooth (For Cellulite)
An ultrasound-assisted liposuction procedure that treats cellulite from beneath the skin. Ultrasound technologies allow for the emulsification of fat cells as well as the separation of hardened fibrous septae that is the main cause of cellulitis or the dumpling of skin. Through tiny incisions, the treatment is then able to break down the structures by liquifying the fat while triggering collagen production.
A consultation must be done to ensure you are an ideal candidate.
To prepare:
– Stop smoking at least 4-8weeks prior to the procedure.
– Avoid blood-thinning medication such as aspirin and anti-inflammatory medicine.
-Avoid the intake of alcohol at least 3-4 weeks prior to the procedure.
The evening before:
– Refrain from eating or drinking anything including water. And do not smoke.
– Do let your doctor know if you have any cold, fever, sore throat, and other symptoms before the surgery.

VASER Smooth is usually performed as a day-case procedure under local or general anesthesia. To begin, tiny incisions will be made before administering the device. Typically a wand-like instrument used.
Most patients can return home with minimal discomfort and are likely to shower the next day. Some can expect to return to work within 24 hours and light exercise can be resumed within the week.
However the length of rest still depends on every individual.
You will see immediate results which will improve over time. The final result of your Vaser can be seen after two to three months. In six months the collagen will grow and the skin will tighten.
It can take up to twelve months for full effect.
